Installation and Troubleshoot


                                                                                                                                                                    

Thank you for choosing OneTech as your security partner. Here's the step-by-step guide on installing OTUS+ Series.

                                                                                                                                                                                                

BASIC SETUP GUIDE

      1. Insert the Class 10 Micro SD Card on your OTUS+.
      2. Plug your OTUS+ to a power outlet (220V).
      3. Prepare your WIFI details and password. You will need this information when you connect your OTUS+ IP camera for pairing with your mobile device. Note that you need to use the same WIFI connection for both the mobile device and the OTUS+camera.
      4. You may also use LAN in connecting your OTUS+ to the internet in the location where it will be placed.
      5. Pair the OTUS unit to your mobile device through the official application, IPC360 Home App.

                                                                                                                                                                                                

STEP 1: INSERTING THE MICRO SD CARD (FOR LOCAL STORAGE)

      1. Ensure that your Class 10 Micro SD card has been reformatted before inserting it on the card slot of your OTUS+ IP Camera. You may use your computer to reformat the SD card
      2. Insert your Micro SD card in the Card slot found at the top of your OTUS+. The Micro SD card’s chips/pins should be inserted facing you.
      3. You are all set to install the IPC360 Home APP. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                

STEP 2: INSTALLING/DOWNLOADING THE APP ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE

·  For existing IPC360 Home users, sign in using your registered email address and password and begin linking your OTUS+ to the IPC360 Home APP.

·   For first time users of the official OTUS+ IP Camera IPC360 Home APP.

1.  Download the IPC360 Home APP.

2.   Scan QR Code to download the app.

3.  Once downloaded, you can now register and create your account.

                                                                                                                                                                                                

STEP 3: REGISTERING IN IPC360 HOME APP

1. Open the IPC360 Home APP and click “SIGN UP” to create your new account.

2. Enter your email address and click “OBTAIN”.

3. You will get verification code sent to your email.

4. Input the verification code sent to your email.

5.Nominate your own password

6.Great! You are now registered to IPC360 Home APP. Now it’s time to pair your mobile device to IPC360 Home APP.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

STEP 4: PAIRING / ADDING OTUS WITH IPC360 HOME APP

1. Click “+” to add your device, select your country, and click next.

2. Scan the QR Code sticker on your OTUS+ IP Camera to connect your unit to the APP 

3.After scanning the QR CODE using the IPC360 Home APP on your OTUS+ device, wait for the voice prompt to say, “Ready to connect”.

4. Once you hear “Ready to connect”, your OTUS+ device will display continuous blinking of red light.

5.  Click on “Red Light Flashing, Next” on your IPC360 Home APP.

6.Enter your Wi-Fi password. 

7. Wait for your OTUS device to connect.

8. Wait for the “BEEP” confirmation sound.

9. Check your IPC360 APP’s dashboard to verify successful connection.


Congratulations! You are done connecting your OTUS+ to the IPC360 APP. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                

STEP 5: DATA STORAGE

Your OTUS+ IP Camera comes with a 1-month free cloud app. You may also store video footages using a Class 10 Micro SD Card. See Step 1 to learn about how to insert your Micro SD Card in your IP camera. 

1. Go to device settings in the IPC360 Home APP by clicking the ( … ) at the upper right corner

2. To set video storage, select “Video Storage Location”

3. You can choose between TF (SD) Card or cloud for your desired storage.

4. For Class 10 Micro SD Card, select “TF Card info”. You should see “Status” as “Normal”, and “Total Capacity”.

5. For cloud storage, click on “Cloud”

6. That’s it! You can now store video footages on your desired storage location.

                                                                                                                                                                                                

STEP 6: MOUNTING YOUR OTUS IP CAMERA

Now that you were able to install the APP, paired your mobile device, and selected storage, you may mount the OTUS+ IP camera in your desired location. 

1. Screw the base tray to wall or ceiling (for concrete walls, use tox and screw).

 Note: OTUS+ does not have base tray since it is designed for table top or flat placements.

2.  Attach the OTUS unit to wall / ceiling with the base tray.

3. Plug OTUS+ on power supply (220V) 

4. Reset the IP Camera by pressing the reset button for 2 to 3 seconds.

                                                                                                                                                                                                

STEP 7: SHARING IP CAMERA

1.  Go to device settings in the IPC360 Home APP by clicking the ( … ) at the upper right corner

2.  Click on “Share”.

3.  Click on “+Add” button.

4. Enter the email address of the account you want to share the device with.

5.Shared users now have access to your OTUS video feed.

Note that only main users can add sub-users to ensure viewing access for multiple mobile devices.

HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT?

 ISSUE WHAT TO DO
 IP camera does not pair with IPC 360 Home APP  -   Restart the IP camera by unplugging the power adapter and plugging it back.

-   Make sure IP camera is connected to the same Wi-Fi as the mobile phone.

SD card not detected
 -      Restart the IP camera by unplugging the power adapter and plugging it back.
Make sure the SD card is inserted properly (refer to manual - Installing of SD card)
 IP camera does not show blinking light - Restart the IP camera by unplugging the power adapter and plugging it back 
 IP camera went offline -      Check that the IP camera is plugged in correctly
- Make sure that the distance of the IP camera from your Wi-Fi modem is within 4 meters 
 Forgot password -      Go to the Settings of your IPC 360 Home APP (at the bottom right) and select ‘change password’
- Follow the steps to reset your password.
 Authentication code not received -      Check spam folder
- Retry by clicking OBTAIN button
